SENCH Arsen
Sargsyan a. k. a. Sench was born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1961. He
was accepted to Yerevan National Art Institute in 1978. The first groundbreaking
Armenian Youth Design Exhibition in 1982, was In 1983 after graduating from a five-year program in Design and Art at Yerevan National Art Institute, Sench and his peers organized a sensational avant -garde exhibition. In addition to being a huge success, the event caused a great deal of controversy due to it's innovative nature. The youth of Armenia were delighted with the exhibition which included surrealistic paintings, abstract art, and pop-art works. Sench's artwork can be found in numerous private collections in Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russia), Kiev (Ukraine), Bonn and Berlin (Germany), Poznan (Poland), Madrid (Spain), London (England), Amsterdam (Holland), Paris (France), Los Angeles, Boston and New York (USA), including the Chrysler Building, New York.
